Work Package 8: Training Instructions

From each project partner, on average two blood establishment professionals will be delegated to attend the Training Programme. They will be instructed about the Manual by a training expert. The Training Programme will deliver trainers who are equipped to distribute the manual within their own country.

 

If there is enough interest from similar organizations from non-participating Member States, the place of every second professional from a project partner at the Training Programme will be given up to this group in order to enhance the dissemination among the Member States. Additionally, educational sessions will be organized at the International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) meeting in 2010, in order to promote the Manual in a more extensive setting.

The Training Programme will become available for every European blood establishment, including non-participating Member States. Dissemination of the Training Programme beyond the ending date of this proposal will be taken care of by an organization experienced in training programmes. This will provide sustainability of the knowledge and practical tools that are comprised by both the Manual and the Training Programme.
